Intro.

Life is life, and it's intense these days! Relationships, work drama, family commitments, and pretty soon summer ends and the holidays will be here. It's a LOT! So, what do we do with all that coming at us each day? Well, let me be the first to share that it's not easy to manage all this and find time to enjoy life too, but it is possible… with a little help that is. My name is Meaghan Greer and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor at A Centered Life here in Wichita. I have had my fair share of intense seasons of life and I just want to encourage you today to take some time for yourself to slow down and get centered. You don’t have to have all the answers right now. You just have to put one foot in front of the other to take the next step and reach your goals. Its not easy, and it usually gets worse before it gets better, but it is possible.

Progress is possible.

Experience

I have been a wife and mother for over 20 years, I have been a Christian for over 21 years, and I have 4 years of experience helping people reach their goals in mental health and wellness as a Licensed Professional Counselor now. I enjoy many different hobbies, music brings me joy, and I am way into cooking shows in different countries around the world! It's fun to see people connecting over a meal, creating new recipes on the fly, and enjoying classic dishes that make their families proud.

Passion

I am passionate about helping couples connect, communicate, and develop a relationship that lasts. I love seeing a couple find new ways to relate whether it's through pre-marital counseling, couples counseling, marital counseling, or co-parenting. I find it life giving to help couples to love each other in ways that make sense to them now.

Interesting fact

I will be completing my Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) this Fall to offer another treatment method for clients who struggle with trauma and who are unable to receive benefits from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. I look forward to connecting with clients who need a different approach to trauma in counseling now.

In the future I plan to train and certify a therapy dog to offer Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) services to my clients in session. I look forward to connecting with anyone interested in this option at that time. Sounds amazing right!

Invitation to connect

I hope that you leave today encouraged to keep reaching for your mental health goals while giving yourself space to get re-centered amidst the chaos of life. Feel free to reach out with any questions and I’ll connect with you within 24 hours during the week.
